Build Your Church

In the song “Build Your Church” by Elevation Worship, we are reminded of the power of God and the importance of being His hands and feet on earth. The lyrics remind us that God is the Lord of all creation, the King of every nation, the hope of every heart, and the light in the dark. We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, to go to the ends of the earth and spread His love and grace. 

This is a reminder of the great commission given to us in Matthew 28:19-20, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” We are called to go and spread the good news of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. 

We are also reminded that God is the love of every story, the grace that covers glory, the truth that sets us free, and the life that we receive. This is a reminder of the love and grace of God that is found in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” We are reminded that God’s love is unconditional and that He is the source of life and truth. 

As we listen to this song, let us be reminded of the power of God and the importance of being His hands and feet on earth. Let us go to the ends of the earth and spread His love and grace. Let us remember that God is the Lord of all creation, the King of every nation, the hope of every heart, and the light in the dark.
