Surrounded (Fight my Battles)

In the song “Surrounded (Fight My Battles)” by Michael W. Smith, we are reminded that no matter what battles we face in life, we are never alone. The chorus of the song says “This is how I fight my battles”, and this is a reminder that we can rely on God to fight our battles for us. 

The Bible tells us in 2 Chronicles 20:15 “Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.” This verse reminds us that no matter how big our battles may seem, we can trust in God to fight them for us. We can rely on Him to be our strength and our shield. 

The lyrics of the song also remind us that we are surrounded by God’s love and protection. The verse says “It may look like I’m surrounded, but I’m surrounded by You.” This is a reminder that no matter what we face in life, God is always with us. We can take comfort in knowing that He is always there to protect us and to fight our battles for us. 

The Bible tells us in Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” This verse reminds us that no matter what we face in life, God is always there to help us. We can rely on Him to fight our battles and to be our strength and our shield. 

No matter what battles we face in life, we can take comfort in knowing that God is always with us. We can rely on Him to fight our battles for us and to be our strength and our shield. We are never alone.
