Give Me Faith - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]

The song “Give Me Faith” by Elevation Worship is a powerful reminder of the faith we need to have in God. The lyrics remind us that we need to surrender all of ourselves to God and trust in His goodness and love. This is echoed in the Bible in Romans 12:1-2 which says, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

The song also reminds us that even when we are weak, God’s Spirit is strong in us. This is echoed in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 which says, “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

We can take comfort in the fact that God is always with us, even in our darkest moments. He is always ready to give us the faith we need to trust in Him and His goodness. Let us take a moment to pray and ask God to give us the faith we need to trust in Him and His love.
