Jesus I Come

We come to Jesus in our brokenness and need, and He meets us with grace and mercy. We can find hope and confidence in Him, and He will bring us redemption and glory. Jesus I Come by Elevation Worship is a beautiful reminder of the amazing love of Jesus. 

The Bible tells us in Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Jesus loves us so much that He died for us even when we were still sinners. We can come to Him just as we are, and He will meet us with His amazing love. 

The lyrics of the song remind us of this truth. In the chorus, we sing “I will rise and stand redeemed, Heaven open over me, To your name eternally, Endless glory I will bring.” We can come to Jesus in our brokenness and He will redeem us and open Heaven over us. We can bring glory to His name forever. 

In the bridge, we sing “Thank you Jesus, Just as I am I come, Hallelujah, Oh what amazing love.” We can come to Jesus just as we are, and He will meet us with His amazing love. We can thank Him for His love and grace. 

The Bible tells us in 1 John 4:19, “We love because he first loved us.” Jesus loves us first, and we can respond to His love by coming to Him in our brokenness and need.
