Give Me Jesus

In the song “Give Me Jesus” by Bethel Music, we are reminded of the importance of Jesus in our lives. The chorus of the song states “Give me Jesus, give me Jesus, you can have all this world, give me Jesus.” This is a powerful reminder that Jesus should be our focus and our hope. 

The Bible tells us in Matthew 6:33 to “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” This verse reminds us that if we focus on Jesus and His kingdom, all of our needs will be taken care of. We can trust in Him and His promises. 

The verse of the song states “Give me the One my soul delights in, give me the One in whom my hope is securely found.” This is a reminder that Jesus is the only one who can truly satisfy our souls. He is the only one who can give us true hope and security. 

The Bible tells us in Psalm 16:11 “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” This verse reminds us that when we seek Jesus and His presence, we will find true joy and pleasure. 

We can trust in Jesus and His promises. He is the only one who can truly satisfy our souls and give us hope and security. Let us focus on Jesus and His kingdom and trust in Him.
