We all search for something in life, something that we know is there but can’t quite see. We search for love, acceptance, and purpose. But when we find Jesus, we find all of these things and more. 

The lyrics of “Need Your Love” by Hillsong Young & Free remind us of the power of God’s love. We can’t make sense of it, and there’s no getting over it. His love changes everything. We need Jesus like we need water and air to breathe. We won’t take Him for granted, and we won’t go back to how we used to be. 

The Bible tells us that God’s love is unfailing and unconditional. In Romans 8:38-39, it says, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” 

God’s love is the only thing we need. It is enough for us. We can trust in His love and know that He will never leave us or forsake us. We can rely on His love to sustain us and give us hope. 

Let us remember the words of “Need Your Love” and cling to the truth of God’s love. He is the only one we need.
