See the Light - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]

We are reminded in the song See the Light by Hillsong Worship that Jesus took our sin and buried it. We are no longer living for ourselves, but Jesus lives in us. We are no longer dead in sin, but we have woken up to see the light.

The Bible tells us in Romans 6:23 that “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” We are reminded that Jesus took our sin and buried it, and that we are no longer living for ourselves, but Jesus lives in us. We are no longer dead in sin, but we have woken up to see the light.

The song also reminds us that we should not boast in anything else but the cross that saved our soul. We are reminded of this in 1 Corinthians 1:31 which says “Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” We should not boast in anything else but the cross that saved our soul.

The song also reminds us that the grip of fear has no hold on us. We are reminded of this in 2 Timothy 1:7 which says “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” We should not be afraid, but instead trust in God and His power.

Finally, the song reminds us that all of this is for God’s glory. We are reminded of this in 1 Corinthians 10:31 which says “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” We should do all that we do for the glory of God.

We are reminded in the song See the Light by Hillsong Worship that Jesus took our sin and buried it. We are no longer living for ourselves, but Jesus lives in us. We are no longer dead in sin, but we have woken up to see the light. We should not boast in anything else but the cross that saved our soul, the grip of fear has no hold on us, and all of this is for God’s glory.
