Spirit Break Out

In the song Spirit Break Out, Kim Walker-Smith calls us to lift up the name of King Jesus and to sing louder in praise of our Father in Heaven. We are reminded that when we lift up the name of Jesus, we can expect to see His kingdom come down and His glory to shake up the earth and skies. 

The Bible tells us in Psalm 148:1-2, “Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise him in the heights! Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts!” We are called to lift up the name of Jesus and to praise Him with all of our hearts. 

In Isaiah 43:18-19, we are reminded that God is doing a new thing and that He is making a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. When we lift up the name of Jesus, we can expect to see Him break down the walls that have been holding us back and to see His kingdom come down. 

Let us lift up the name of Jesus and sing louder in praise of our Father in Heaven. Let us expect to see His kingdom come down and His glory to shake up the earth and skies. Let us trust that He is doing a new thing and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. 

Prayer: 

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the reminder to lift up the name of Jesus and to sing louder in praise of You. We ask that You would break down the walls that have been holding us back and that You would send Your kingdom down to us. We trust that You are doing a new thing and that You will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
