Hallelujah Here Below - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]
We are so blessed to have a God who loves us so much that He would come down to earth and sacrifice Himself for us. In the song “Hallelujah Here Below” by Elevation Worship, we are reminded of the great love of God and the importance of praising Him here on earth.
The lyrics of the song remind us that God delights in our offerings, even though we are just broken stones. He has the heavens to call His home, but He still abides in the song we sing. We are also reminded that ten thousand angels surround His throne to bring Him praise that will never cease. But God still loves to hear our hallelujahs from here below.
The bridge of the song reminds us that Jesus Christ is our King enthroned and all the praise is His forevermore. We can’t wait for the day when every knee will bow before His name, but we can still praise Him here and now.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 150:6 “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!” We are called to praise God with all that we have and all that we are. We can praise Him in the good times and in the bad. We can praise Him in the highs and in the lows. We can praise Him in the joy and in the sorrow.
We can also find comfort in the words of Romans 8:38-39 which says “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” No matter what we are going through, we can always find comfort in the love of God.
Let us take a moment to thank God for His great love and mercy. Let us praise Him with all that we have and all that we are. Let us remember that He is our King enthroned and all the praise is His forevermore. Let us sing hallelujah here below.
