Verse 1

In every season,
in every change You are near
In every sorrow,
You are my strength You are near

A peace in the storm
Your voice I will follow
In weakness I rise
Remembering You hold my world

I’m holding on to hope
I’m holding on to grace
I’m fully letting go
I’m surrendered to Your ways
The anchor for my soul
Father You will never change
I love You, I love You

My great Redeemer,
My constant Friend
You are near
My faithful Father,
You took me in
You are near

Your promise forever
My Strength, my Defender
I can count on You
You are my Savior,
My Hope and my Shelter
Your love is forever
I can count on You

Anchor - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]

We all go through seasons of change and sorrow in our lives, but we can take comfort in knowing that God is always near. He is our strength and our peace in the storm. We can hold on to hope and grace, and surrender to His ways. He is the anchor for our souls, and He will never change.

The Bible tells us in Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” God is our great Redeemer and our constant Friend. He took us in and His love is forever. We can count on Him in all circumstances.

We can also find hope in Romans 8:28, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” No matter what we are going through, God is with us and He will work all things together for our good. We can trust Him and rely on Him to be our strength and our hope.

Let us remember to hold on to hope and grace, and surrender to God’s ways. He is the anchor for our souls and He will never change.
