Love Won't Let Me Down

The song “Love Won’t Let Me Down” by Hillsong Young & Free is a beautiful reminder of God’s never-ending love for us. The lyrics remind us that no matter how far away we may feel from God, He is always there, searching for us and leading us back to Him. 

The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 29:13, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” God is always searching for us, and when we seek Him with all our heart, we will find Him. He is the whisper that leads us to His heart, and when we find Him, we will belong to Him forever. 

The lyrics also remind us that when we can see clearly, we can see that God is for us and He will never let go. This is echoed in Romans 8:38-39, which says, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” No matter what we face in life, God’s love will never let us down. 

The song also reminds us that when we need God, He is always listening to our prayers. This is echoed in 1 John 5:14-15, which says, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.” God is always listening to our prayers and He will answer them according to His will. 

Finally, the lyrics remind us that God’s love never changes. This is echoed in Hebrews 13:8, which says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” God’s love for us is constant and unchanging, and He will never let us down. 

No matter what we face in life, God’s love will never let us down. He is always searching for us, listening to our prayers, and His love never changes. We can trust in His love and know that He will never fail us.
