Come Ye Sinners - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]

We all have moments in our lives when we feel lost, broken, and in need of a savior. In those moments, we can turn to Jesus and find comfort in His love and power. The song “Come Ye Sinners” by Vertical Worship is a reminder of this truth.

The lyrics of the song invite us to come to Jesus, no matter how poor, needy, weak, or wounded we may be. We are invited to come to the fountain of His goodness and find true belief and repentance. The chorus reminds us that when we arise and go to Jesus, He will embrace us as His own and give us life forevermore.

This message is echoed in the Bible. In Luke 19:10, Jesus says, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” In Romans 10:9, we are told, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” And in John 3:16, we are reminded that “God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

No matter how lost, broken, or weary we may be, Jesus is always ready to save us. He is the only one who can give us life forevermore. Let us take courage and arise to Him, trusting in His love and power.
