How Great Is Our God - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]
Our God is truly great! He is clothed in majesty and wraps Himself in light. He stands through all ages and time is in His hands. He is the Godhead, three in one - Father, Spirit, and Son. His name is above all names and worthy of all praise.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 145:3 that “Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.” We can never fully understand the greatness of our God, but we can praise Him for His greatness.
In Isaiah 40:28, we are reminded that “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.” Our God is everlasting and He never grows weary. He is the Creator of the ends of the earth and His understanding is unsearchable.
In Revelation 5:12-13, we are told that “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” Jesus, the Lamb of God, is worthy of all honor and glory and blessing.
Let us join together in singing “How Great Is Our God” and praising Him for His greatness. Let us remember that He is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth, and the Lamb who was slain. Let us give Him all the honor and glory and blessing that He is due.
