Praises (Be Lifted Up) - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]

We can all join together in singing praises to the Lord, for His name is higher than all other names. In Psalm 113:3 it says, “From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised!” We can lift up our voices and sing praises to the Lord, for He is worthy of all honor and glory.

The lyrics of this song remind us that the Lord is our life, our hope, and our love. In Jeremiah 29:11 it says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” We can trust in the Lord and know that He will always be there for us, no matter what.

The bridge of the song also reminds us that the Lord’s love always finds us. In Romans 8:38-39 it says, “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” We can be confident that the Lord’s love will never leave us, no matter what.

Let us all join together in singing praises to the Lord, for He is worthy of all honor and glory. Let us fill this temple with our praises, for He is good and His love never fails.
