Yahweh

The song “Yahweh” by Elevation Worship is a powerful reminder of the presence of God in our lives. The lyrics speak of the Spirit of Jesus living within us, never to fail or forsake us. This is a reminder of the promise of God’s unending love and grace. 

The chorus of the song proclaims “Holy, holy is the Lord, worthy to be praised, Yahweh.” This is a reminder of the holiness of God and His worthiness to be praised. We can find this same reminder in the Bible in Isaiah 6:3 which says “And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” 

The bridge of the song speaks of “He who was and is to come, is the one who lives in us, the Great I Am, Yahweh.” This is a reminder of the power and might of God. We can find this same reminder in the Bible in Revelation 1:8 which says “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” 

The song “Yahweh” is a powerful reminder of the presence of God in our lives. We can find comfort and assurance in the knowledge that God is with us and will never leave us. We can also find strength and courage in the knowledge that God is all-powerful and all-knowing. May we all be reminded of the power and might of God and may we all be filled with His love and grace.
