Everything And Nothing Less - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]

We are called to give God our all, to surrender our lives to Him and trust Him with our future. In the song “Everything and Nothing Less” by Chris McClarney, we are reminded of this truth. The lyrics “Humbly I stand, an offering/ With open hands, Lord I bring everything” remind us of the importance of offering our lives to God. We are called to give Him our best, our all, and our every breath.

The Bible tells us in Romans 12:1, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” We are called to offer our lives to God as a living sacrifice, and to surrender our lives to Him.

The bridge of the song reminds us that our lives are completely His. The lyrics “Everything and nothing less, I give You/ Everything and nothing less, forever/ Everything and nothing less/ Oh, my life is Yours/ Completely Yours” remind us that our lives are not our own, but are completely His. We are called to give Him our all, and to trust Him with our future.

The Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” We are called to trust God with our lives, and to surrender our lives to Him.

Let us remember to give God our all, and to surrender our lives to Him. Let us trust Him with our future, and offer our lives to Him as a living sacrifice.
