Love On The Line - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]

Love on the Line by Hillsong Worship is a beautiful reminder of the love of God that is available to us. The lyrics remind us that God put His love on the line to bear the weight of our sin. This is a powerful reminder of the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross. Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Jesus willingly put His love on the line for us, even when we were still sinners.

The chorus of the song reminds us that we can give our lives to God, knowing that we are found in Christ. This is a reminder of the hope that we have in Jesus. Ephesians 2:4-5 says, “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” We can stand in God’s grace, knowing that we are saved by His great love for us.

The bridge of the song reminds us that Jesus is the one who has rescued our souls and welcomed us home. This is a reminder of the hope that we have in Jesus. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Jesus is the one who has welcomed us home and given us eternal life.

Love on the Line by Hillsong Worship is a beautiful reminder of the love of God that is available to us. We can stand in His grace, knowing that we are found in Christ and that He has welcomed us home. We can give our lives to Him, knowing that He put His love on the line for us.
