Intro

Verse 1

You are good, You are good
When there's nothing good in me
You are love, You are love
On display for all to see
You are light, You are light
When the darkness closes in
You are hope, You are hope
You have covered all my sin

Verse 2

You are peace, You are peace
When my fear is crippling
You are true, You are true
Even in my wandering
You are joy, You are joy
You're the reason that I sing
You are life, You are life,
In You death has lost its sting

Chorus

Oh, I’m running to Your arms,
I’m running to Your arms
The riches of Your love
Will always be enough
Nothing com-pares to Your em-brace
Light of the world, for-ever reign

Verse 3

You are more, You are more
Than my words will ever say
You are Lord, You are Lord
All creation will proclaim
You are here, You are here
In your presence I'm made whole
You are God, You are God
Of all else I'm letting go

Bridge

My heart will sing,
No other name
Jesus Jesus
(final time only)

Forever Reign - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]

We serve a God who is good, even when we are not. He is love, and His love is on display for all to see. He is light, and when darkness closes in, He is our hope and He has covered all our sin. He is peace, and when our fear is crippling, He is true, even in our wandering. He is joy, and the reason we sing. He is life, and in Him death has lost its sting.

We can run to His arms, for the riches of His love will always be enough. Nothing compares to His embrace. He is the light of the world, and He will forever reign. He is more than our words can ever say. He is Lord, and all creation will proclaim Him. He is here, and in His presence we are made whole. He is God, and we can let go of all else.

Let us sing to Him, for no other name is worthy of our praise. Jesus, Jesus.

Let us remember the words of Psalm 103:8-12

“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.”

Let us praise God for His goodness, His love, His light, His hope, His peace, His truth, His joy, His life, and His grace. He is forever reigning, and He is worthy of all our praise.

Amen.
