Percussive Piano: A two layer piano patch: The first layer covers the entire keyboard and uses a bright, dynamic piano sound with moderate reverb and compression. The second layer covers the top portion of the keyboard (C-4 and up) and uses a light, shimmery synth pad paired with a percussive plucked strings sound. The plucked strings also use a stern 1/8 and dotted 1/4 note delay. Raising the mod wheel opens the cutoff filter for all of the sounds. The “ValhallaR” reverb plugin uses a large room reverb with a pre-delay of 10ms and a decay of 4s. The piano will work well with any reverb with similar settings.
Pad: A warm, ambient synth pad. Raising the mod wheel opens the cutoff filter for a fuller, richer sound.
Pulse: A two layer pulsing synth: The first layer covers the entire keyboard and uses a bright, trance, supersaw that swells and pulses at an 1/8 note rate. It uses octave harmonics and light reverb. The second layer covers the lower portion of the keyboard (B-3 and down) and uses a short, percussive synth that pulses at a 1/16 note rate. It also swells in volume at an 1/8 note rate.
