Octave Piano - Lead: A two layer patch: the first layer covers the lower portion of the keyboard (D-6 and down) and uses a dynamic piano that uses octave layering, delay, and moderate reverb. With the mod wheel down the piano has a darker tone. Raising the mod wheel adds another piano transposed 1 octave up, a stereo 1/4 and dotted 1/4 note delay, more reverb, and releases the cutoff filter. The second layer is in the top portion of the keyboard (D#-6 and up) and uses a bright shimmer lead synth with a long reverb. The “ValhallaR” reverb plugin uses a large room reverb with a pre-delay of 10ms and a decay of 4s. The piano will work well with any reverb with similar settings.
Bass Pulse - Pad: A two layer synth. The first layer covers the lower portion of the keyboard (G-3 and down) and uses a short buzzy bass synth that pulses at a 1/16 note rhythm while swelling in volume ever beat. The second layer in the top portion of the keyboard (G#-3 and up) uses bright, shimmery synth pad that uses octave harmonics above and below the played note.
