Bass - Synth: A two layer synth. The first layer covers the lower portion of the keyboard (A-1 and down) and uses a buzzy, high-passed saw bass. The second layer in the top portion of the keyboard (A#-1 and up) uses a ambient, airy pad. Raising the mod wheel opens the cutoff filter and gives the pad a rich, buzzy sound.
First fader: is mapped to the bass volume.
Second fader: is mapped to the pad volume.
Mod wheel: is mapped to the cutoff filter.
Pulse: A bright, percussive piano synth lead. It pulses at an 1/8 note rate using a chordal arpeggiator. Raising the mod wheel increases the rate to 1/16 notes and removes the synth shimmer.
First fader: is mapped to the lead volume.
Mod wheel: is mapped to the 1/16 note volume.
Piano Lead: A three layer patch: The first layer uses a rich piano sound. The second layer uses a plucked bell sound. The third layer uses a bright, buzzy saw synth with octave harmonics. The “ValhallaR” reverb plugin uses a large room reverb with a pre-delay of 10ms and a decay of 3s. The piano will work well with any reverb with similar settings.
First fader: is mapped to the piano volume.
Second fader: is mapped to the plucked bell volume.
Third fader: is mapped to the saw lead volume.
Fourth fader: is mapped to the reverb volume (reverb return).
