For King & Country is a popular Christian pop duo consisting of Australian brothers Joel (born June 5, 1984) and Luke Smallbone (born October 22, 1986). Though born in Australia, their family moved to the United States when they were kids, where they settled in Nashville.

The duo's debut album, Crave, released in 2012, followed a short EP they previously released as "Joel and Luke." Their music caught Billboard's attention and they were named one of the "New Artists to Watch" for 2012, while American Songwriter dubbed them "Australia's answer to Coldplay."

Since then, they have released two more studio albums: Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong. in 2014, which won a Grammy Award, and Burn the Ships in 2018, featuring four hit singles including "God Only Knows," which achieved platinum status, and "Joy" and "Burn the Ships," both reaching gold status.

For King & Country has also collaborated with other popular musicians in their career, including Dolly Parton, Timbaland, Tori Kelly, Lecrae, Needtobreathe, and more.

They added a Christmas album, A Drummer Boy Christmas, to their discography in 2020, and in 2022, they released their fifth studio album, What Are We Waiting For?
