Founded in 1985 by Peter Furler and George Perdikis, Newsboys is a Christian rock band that originated in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia. The band, which is now based in Nashville, Tennessee, has released an impressive 17 studio albums, with six of them achieving gold certification.

As of 2023, Newsboys consists of a talented ensemble, including lead vocalist Michael Tait (formerly of DC Talk), drummer and percussionist Duncan Phillips, keyboardist Jeff Frankenstein, electric guitarist Jody Davis, and bassist Adam Agee. Their music has inspired millions of fans worldwide, and the group continues to create new and exciting music.
