Alexander Pappas is an Australian Christian musician and songwriter, best known for his work with the Hillsong Church in Sydney. He is a part of the Hillsong United band and Hillsong Young &amp; Free, both of which are contemporary worship music groups associated with the church.&nbsp;Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, he began his music career at a young age, playing in church bands and eventually joining Hillsong United in 2008. He has since become a key member of the group, contributing to many of their most popular songs. In addition to his work with Hillsong United, Pappas is also a member of Hillsong Young &amp; Free, a group that was formed in 2012 to reach out to a younger generation of worshippers. The group's music is a blend of contemporary Christian music and electronic dance music.
