MercyMe is a contemporary Christian music band hailing from Edmond, Oklahoma. Its members include lead vocalist Bart Millard, percussionist Robby Shaffer, bassist Nathan Cochran, and guitarists Michael Scheuchzer and Barry Graul.

In 1994, the band was formed and released six independent albums before signing with INO Records in 2001. Their breakout crossover single "I Can Only Imagine" brought them mainstream recognition, catapulting their debut album, Almost There, to triple platinum certification. Since then, the group has released eight additional studio albums, six of which have been certified gold, as well as a greatest hits album titled 10.

MercyMe has garnered significant attention, with 13 consecutive top 5 singles on the Billboard Christian Songs chart, seven of which reached No. 1. The band has been awarded 8 Dove Awards, in addition to numerous Grammy Award nominations. On April 8, 2014, MercyMe released their eighth studio album titled Welcome to the New. They followed this up with the release of their ninth studio album, Lifer, on March 31, 2017. Their most recent album, Inhale (Exhale), was released on April 30, 2021.
