Housefires is a renowned worship band that originated from Grace Midtown Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to the formation of Housefires in 2014, the church had released two worship albums under the name Grace Midtown, featuring Pat Barrett and other worship leaders. The addition of Kirby Kaple as a worship pastor signaled a shift in the church's musical style towards a more stripped-down sound, similar to that of United Pursuit and All Sons & Daughters. Along with Barrett, Kaple was joined by Tony Brown and Nate Moore, both Atlanta-based worship leaders, as well as violinist Vicki Schmidt, keyboardist Jonathan Jay, percussionist Zac Brooks, and drummer Harold Brown. The band has participated in the Outcry Tour and has toured independently, but they are best known for hosting monthly worship nights at Grace Midtown's campus.
