David Leonard is an accomplished Christian singer, songwriter, and producer, who gained recognition as part of the worship folk-pop duo, All Sons & Daughters, during the 2010s. Prior to his success with the band, he played in a Christian Southern rock group called Jackson Waters and served as a touring keyboardist for Needtobreathe. Together with Leslie Anne Jordan, he formed All Sons & Daughters in 2009 and began to write and perform music out of Journey Church in Franklin, Tennessee. Signed to Integrity label, their music was widely received by audiences throughout the decade with four full-length albums, prominently featuring Leonard's signature folk-driven worship style.

Over the years, they received various awards and nominations, including Grammy and Dove Awards, and charting on Christian, Folk, Heatseekers, and Billboard Top 200 charts. The 2016 album, Poets & Saints, proved to be the duo's last production before they decided to part ways. Leonard ventured into a solo career, and in 2019, he released his debut album, The Wait, honing in on his personal and spiritual journey through his music. "Plans," his latest album, is set to release in 2023.
