Growing up in Wilson, North Carolina, Meredith Andrews discovered her passion for singing at the tender age of six. She attended and graduated from Wilson Christian Academy before pursuing her education at Liberty University in Virginia. Despite being an only child, her parents served as foster parents to several children, three of whom were later adopted by her parents.

Andrews’ music career took off after winning two Dove Awards in 2011 for “How Great Is the Love” and “Praise and Worship Album of the Year” for As Long As It Takes. She later released a single titled “Not for a Moment (After All)” in 2012. Before becoming a solo artist, Andrews was a worship leader with Vertical Worship at Harvest Bible Chapel in Chicago. In 2016, she released the album Deeper and moved with her family to Nashville. Andrews is married to Jacob Sooter and they are blessed with three children.

In 2021, Andrews released her first Spanish-language album, Ábrenos los Cielos ("Open Up the Heavens"), featuring collaborations with Lucía Parker, Seth Condrey, Blanca, and others.
