Holy Forever

In the song “Holy Forever” by Chris Tomlin, we are reminded of the greatness of our God and the power of His name. We are called to stand and lift up our hands in praise and worship Him alone. We are reminded of the joy of the Lord, which is our strength, and that we should bow down and worship Him. 

The Bible tells us in Psalm 145:3 “Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.” We can never fully understand the greatness of our God, but we can still praise Him for His greatness. We can also look to Psalm 99:3 which says “Let them praise your great and awesome name— he is holy.” We are called to praise the Lord for His holiness and to stand in awe of His name. 

The song “Holy Forever” reminds us of the power of God’s name and the importance of praising Him. We are called to lift up our eyes to the God of Heaven and to lift up our voices in praise. We are reminded that God is the one who gives us life and makes us shine. 

Let us take a moment to pause and reflect on the greatness of our God and the power of His name. Let us lift up our hands in praise and worship Him alone. Let us bow down and worship Him and stand in awe of His holy name. Let us lift up our eyes to the God of Heaven and lift up our voices in praise. Let us remember that God is holy forever and His praises will ring throughout eternity.
