INTRO
VERSE 1
Is your burden weighing heavy?
Is it all too much to carry?
Let me tell you ‘bout my Jesus
Do you feel that empty feeling
‘Cause shame’s done all its stealing
And you’re desperate
for some healing?
Let me tell you ‘bout my Jesus
CHORUS
there ain’t no way
Rises up from an empty grave
Ain’t no sinner that He can’t save
Let me tell you ‘bout my Jesus
His love is strong and
His grace is free
And the good news is I know that
He can do for you what
He’s done for me
Let me tell you ‘bout my Jesus
And let my Jesus change your life

Ain’t no sinner that He can’t save
Let me tell you ‘bout my Jesus

My Jesus - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]
We can all relate to the words of the song “My Jesus” by Anne Wilson. We all need a Savior, a refuge, and a shelter. We all need someone to turn to in times of trouble and to praise in times of joy. Jesus is that someone.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 118:14, “The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” Jesus is our strength and our song. He is our salvation. He is the one we turn to in times of trouble and the one we praise in times of joy.
The chorus of the song reminds us to “Shout to the Lord, all the earth, let us sing, power and majesty, praise to the King, mountains bow down, and seas will roar at the sound of Your name.” We are called to praise the Lord with all of our heart, soul, and strength. We are called to proclaim His power and majesty. We are called to bow down before Him and to shout His name.
The last verse of the song says, “I sing for joy at the work of Your hands, forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand, nothing compares to the promise I have in You.” We can have joy in knowing that Jesus is always with us and that He will never leave us. We can have joy in knowing that He is always working in our lives and that He will never forsake us. We can have joy in knowing that He is the promise we have in Him.
Let us all take a moment to thank Jesus for His mighty love and for His promise to us. Let us all take a moment to praise Him for His power and majesty. Let us all take a moment to bow down before Him and to shout His name.
Psalm 145:3 says, “Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.” Let us all praise the Lord for His greatness and for His mighty love.
Amen.
